Like Chrissie, we got a bit of a late start this year on the garden, but the veggies are in: tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, cucumbers, pumpkins, and basil (lots of basil - even some purple basil) - plus marigolds to act as natural pest deterrents. We're going to throw some peas in for good measure, and maybe some carrots! I think my favorite part is watering the basil - it smells so yummy. The pot behind has my flowers - I can't wait to make an arrangement for the house. The annual lavender harvest has already begun!
