Wow, a whole lot has gone on since the last post

And today is my last day at the old job. After 9 years, it is going to be a little weird (and sad), but I don't think it's hit me yet. I am more excited that I have the rest of the week off and then onto the new job. So, new year -- new job. Seems fitting! One of these days I'll catch up on the blog.

We're baaaack

from Tahiti. It was wonderful, awesome, fantastic, best vacation ever. Josh is upstairs uploading the 2000+ pictures we took (we'll narrow it down for flickr uploading!). Thanks much to chrissie, kevin, the girls and mom and dad for taking care of the princess puppy, who was much missed and who we think missed us much as well.

Oh well, back to the real world tomorrow. At least I can somewhat have fun given I feel a strong case of short-timer's syndrome coming on . . . YEAH!!!!

On our way....

We're in LAX at the Air Tahiti Nui gate. LAX is getting an overhaul, at least the international terminal is, which is a good thing because it is a bit of a dump. There doesn't seem to be as many newlyweds as last time - more summer weddings I guess. I cannot wait to get there and go swimming. Given the hectic pace of the last couple weeks, which have been absolutely crazed, I've not had much time to even get excited about the trip so now its hitting full force. The biggest cause of the craziness is the fact that the below contact info won't be relevant after 12/31!!! I'm going to take the plunge and switch over to the non-legal world as an human resources consultant.

But for the next two weeks, I have no plans other than to swim, read and hang in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
