It's still all mainly about the Melo (look whose picture is prominently placed at the top of this page!), and what we're in to, up to, and trying to do, and all of the other good bits in between.

Some progress shots on the front porch project

Here's what the stairs started looked like after a bunch of guys with jackhammers worked on them for about 1/2 day (I have the original stairs in a photo somewhere, just can't locate it at the moment!):
Front Stairs - Step 1 of the destruction!
And here's the next stage, framing . . . .

And now for the finished stairs:

We're waiting until they are fully dry for a full set picture, or until I feel like uploading the latest batch of photos - but trust me, they are beautiful!

OMG - Cutest thing ever (next to Melo, that is)

Miniature cows! They are about as big as a german sheppard. Seriously so freakin' cute and they give milk - how cool is that. When I win powerball, I am going to go live on a farm on Sauvie Island with all miniature animals: cows, horses and chickens. Melo would love a mini-cow, and as Josh says, anyone can have a llama, but a mini cow?- now that would be cool. I'm trying to convince Josh that we should ignore any pesking zoning laws and get one - he could live in the backyard and just think how well fertilized our yard would be!

Bunko time

We just got back from playing Bunko with Eric and Sue and a bunch of their friends, which was a blast! We're trying to plan how to host a Bunko party soon. Tomorrow I plan to hang with Chrissie before she heads to Hawaii for some R&R (so jealous!!) and maybe think about starting to think about painting the kitchen. Maybe . . .

Just a tease photo from our recent trip to the San Juans with the Rushers, who officially rocked way before the SJ trip, but have now officially cemented rock-dom for all times!! We say the J-pod of orcas and they were simply awesome. Josh got some really great pics with his fancy-dancy camera - Jen, a DVD is on its way!

We're back!!

Well, actually, we got back a few days ago, but it's been a bit crazy getting back into the swing of things. The trip was wonderful - I miss my RI buddies so much, I can't blog about my trip yet or it will make me sad. The San Juans with the Rushers was awesome - we saw orcas, eagles, seals and tons of stuff! Some of Josh's photos are up already on flickr - I'm going to have to locate my camera and start uploading and burning disks for folks!
