What a wonderful christmas

Even though the snow prevented the Seattle contingent from joining us, it just means we get to extend the holiday season!! There were too many wonderful presents and I actually think I made at least one hand-made item for almost everyone this year, but somehow failed to take any pictures. I'll have to get some action/in use shots for posterity. Jenn - your handmade surprise is on the way, unless you folks are headed down to PDX soon (hope so) - and there's a perfect passage in the "At Knit's End" book that applies to your present!!!

crazy winter snow!

Pictures will have to wait a bit - its too cold to go down in the cellar. It is a winter wonderland here - complete with 4+ inches of snow and another inch or so of ice! It hasn't snowed this much since Erica's new years visit!!! It's been a great weekend for holing up in the house, baking cookies, wrapping presents and getting ready for Hanukkah and Christmas. Here's hoping the power stays on!
