It's still all mainly about the Melo (look whose picture is prominently placed at the top of this page!), and what we're in to, up to, and trying to do, and all of the other good bits in between.

Knock Knock

Who's there?
Interrupting cow.
Interrupting cow . . . MOOOOOOOO. . . who?

Yeah, I guess you kinda had to be there. And then again, after several hundred knock-knock jokes and chocolate ice cream cake from Freddy (thank you Jack, Jenn and Rob!), you get a little punchy. Its been crazy around the house with work, Mom and Dad looking for houses, a jaunt up to Seattle for horse races and all sorts of stuff. We got mom and dad to play Karaoke Revolution one night - who'd have thunk it? They are back to maybe we'll stay if we can find an affordable house, but I am not holding out hope. . . I'll just enjoy it for as long as they are here because it is awesome to have my mom and dad with us. Josh is the world's bestest husband for sure.

I am so glad its the weekend - and ERICA's HERE!!!! Finally! Technically, she's in Seattle, but not for long. I can't wait to see Southern Spice, and hopefully there will be a spice girl reunion in the works. I've been trying to plan all sorts of fun things for Erica's return visit to PDX: Chinese classical gardens, Powell's, margaritas, butterfly exhibit at the zoo, more margaritas!

Gryffindor!!

GRYFFINDOR!
You scored 16% Slytherin, 20% Ravenclaw, 68% Gryffindor, and 36% Hufflepuff!
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart.

Gryffindors are known for their courage, audacity, and devotion to what is good and honest.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 20% on Slytherin

You scored higher than 28% on Ravenclaw

You scored higher than 83% on Gryffindor

You scored higher than 69% on Hufflepuff

Okay, The site that this test was from was a bit, let's say, for those over 18, but fun! (And I swear, I got to this link from one of the knitting blogs I visited!!!)

Puppy Powers

We've discovered that Melo, aka Princess Puppy, has super powers: 1) Super Paws: The ability of a 12-lb puppy to use her tiny paws to move a sleeping human off the bed; 2) Ear Snuggles: The ability to reduce a full grown person to talking in baby talk by application of a cold wet doggie nose to the ear (think Spock's Vulcan grip for a comparison, with better results); and 3) Killer Cuteness: The ability to get out of whatever trouble she has just caused by looking so very, very cute. Watch out Superman, Melo could kick your butt.
