Josh missed his calling - he should have been a phlebotomist as he has a very steady hand with the shots. So far, not too bad - but then again, the butt ones haven't started nor have the street-rat-crazy hormone ones. Yahoo - time to buckle up!

Wow, who knew that you could pick up

$1500 worth of meds from the pharmacy and none of it be any fun. I think they should throw at least one or two happy pills into the mix. Here's hoping the shots work and Josh's hands stay steady - he seems way too happy about getting to stick me with a needle a few times a day for the next few weeks. He did always think about being a pharmacist . . . .

Alas, the Norwegian Maple is no more. The backyard sans tree looks HUGE!!! And bonus, our back neighbors took down some of the pine tree branches that were covering the fence intersection, so the back yard got a bit brighter. Our next door neighbors went from having a shade garden to a sun garden, too -- good thing we're putting in a new tree, but they seem excited for the sun!

I'm a bit unclear where the blue and purple bits went, but these little buggers were yummy. I'm going to try them again, with paper cups, to see if I can get the rainbow a bit more rainbow and less tie-dye. And its a bad thing that I now know how to make buttercream frosting . . . . a very bad thing indeed.

It was a wonderful weekend - complete with the first barbeque of the season/last barbeque in the old back yard with the moms, meeting up with Jenn, her mom and Judi, a trip to Powell's, a trip to Bridgeport Brewery, a trip to Clay's Smokehouse, and a trip to Paper Source (thanks again Erica for showing me that goodness - I've passed it on!!).
